Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a fantastic fiance named JP and a hapless dad Henry. Most people know me through my Instagram @annephung. Here I write about my experiences - highs, lows and everything that in-between. When I was in 1990, I came to America along with my brother and parents when I turned one and a half. Without my parents' love of hard work and sacrifice without which I'm sure I wouldn't be with you sharing my story. So that they could give their children the opportunity of a prospering future, I focused upon success and tried my best in order to reach it. My goals were set: I would go to university, get a job with a large corporation as well as marry and then buy the house. Even though I thought this was the definition of successful, my life was not following the strategies. As of 2013, I was dreading going to my corporate job the money and status didn't bring me happinessIt was like I was throwing my life off to make a buck when I knew I was in the right place to be more. I possessed a passion for fitness and being social and helping others while I walked this new path in life I found my calling in training for personal trainers. In 2014, I launched my own business. I am celebrating my seventh year anniversary in 2021. Since I am an Asian female in this business, we are among the few of women like us. I aim to be a positive influencer within the business to offer high-quality coaching that allows those around me to make healthier and happier by designing an environment that is sustainable and meets your personal goals and requirements. Also, I want for others to encourage them to chase the goals they have set for themselves and achieve anything they wish to do. When my work was waning off, I was struck by the greatest loss of my lifein the death of my mom. After eight years of battle against the illness, she's now resting within Heaven. I am forever grateful to her and continue to remember her in my mind and heart. The universe has an ability of giving us everything we want, even if we're not able to comprehend the lesson in this moment. The loss of my mother has changed my life in a profound way and I'm convinced she provided me a second chance at life. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. It was now time for her to transition into her new chapter, and for me to have the chance to live an enjoyable and fulfilled life. In my 30s, I have a sense that I am alive and living. I'm not feeling like you're just an ordinary person anymore. In sharing my story, I hope that my experience will be a source of inspiration for those of you. I hope that my words can help you realize that you aren't in isolation. That you have the capacity to succeed in everything you desire. It is my hope that you can live your life fully and that your death be without regrets as it is the only thing that we are able to count on in this existence.
