LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. The nickname is King James he is widely considered one of the greatest athletes of all time. He is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over who is the greatest basketball player. James has earned four NBA championships and four NBA MVP awards 4 NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James had more points than any other player during the playoffs. He has the second highest total of points throughout his career, and has the seventh-highest number of career assists. James, who was born in Akron Ohio, played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School. He was praised by the national press as a potential NBA superstar.
